In-Home Rug Cleaning
Our service is performed at your location; rugs are not taken to an off-site wash plant. We address loose soil and pet hair, precondition the face fibers, treat appropriate spots, and extract with controlled moisture. Rugs with unstable dye, natural-fiber backing, glued construction, severe urine saturation, or fragile fringe may require limited treatment or an off-site specialist.
Carpet Rooms, Hallways, and Stairs
Traffic lanes, entry paths, and stair edges often need more attention than open areas. Please remove small items and light floor clutter before arrival. We do not move very heavy furniture, electronics, beds, or fragile pieces. Accessible carpet around large furniture can still be cleaned effectively.
Wool and Delicate Rugs
Wool requires gentler chemistry, lower agitation, and careful moisture control. We inspect for color movement, shrinkage risk, worn pile, moth damage, and weak edges. No cleaning method can reverse sun fading, fiber wear, dye loss, or permanent damage, so those conditions are documented before service.
Pet Hair, Urine, and Odor
Surface pet hair and many accessible odor sources can be treated. Urine that has reached backing, pad, subfloor, or internal rug layers may need additional work and may not be completely removable with surface cleaning. Send photos and describe the odor area so the quote includes the right option.
Drying and Room Use
Increase airflow and avoid walking on damp carpet or rugs except with clean footwear. Keep furniture tabs or protective barriers in place until dry. Typical drying is several hours, with thicker rugs, stairs, humidity, and low airflow taking longer. Do not place a damp rug over wood flooring without adequate ventilation.
